This stock came up on a filter of mine:

Company: SRLS (SeraCare Life Sciences Incorported)
 Trigger Date: 3/23/06. Price: 1.75
Buy Date: Next day open at $1.62
 Hold: 5 days
Sell Date: 3/31/06 open at $3.60
 Gain: 122%
Company: SRLS (SeraCare Life Sciences Incorported)

I did not buy this stock. It now goes under the symbol of SRLSQ. I can't find any information on the change.
My question is: was this a realistic buy for that period of time. If not, then the backtest results are very unreliable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 Thanks for the information.
I was looking at this from the backtesting and filtering point of view and how reliable the backtesting results are. I am not a day trader. So it was strictly as outlined, buy & sell at open, and a five day hold. Somewhere in those five days the "Q" was added and I'm assuming it didn't affect a persons holding and the backtesting results are valid.
